   Spring Wheat Breaks Above $8; Row Crops Await Rain

   September Minneapolis wheat closed up 19 1/2 cents Wednesday, above $8.00
again with ongoing support from drought in the northwestern U.S. Plains and
little chance for rain. Meanwhile, December corn and November soybeans were
held to lower closes with widespread rains on their way to the Midwest.

   July corn closed up 4 1/2 cents and December corn was down 3 1/4 cents. July
soybeans closed down 9 1/2 cents and November soybeans were down 2 cents. July
KC wheat closed up 14 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was up 8 3/4 cents and
September Minneapolis wheat was up 19 1/2 cents. The September U.S. Dollar
Index is trading up 0.03 at 91.78. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down
23.37 points at 33,922.21. August gold is up $1.90 at $1,779.30, July silver is
up $0.13 at $25.99 and July copper is up $0.0895. August crude oil is up $0.16
at $73.01, August heating oil is up $0.0062, August RBOB gasoline is up $0.0370
and August natural gas is up $0.072.
